Detailed Introduction

This four-cavity matched mold set is engineered for small-sized multi-pin automotive signal connectors. The mold core features a dual-row symmetrical layout with four independent cavities connected by a central balanced runner, ensuring identical melt filling speed and pressure for all four tiny thin-wall products, effectively eliminating warpage, sink marks and inconsistent pin hole dimensions during continuous mass production. The detachable insert design simplifies later maintenance and replacement of vulnerable micro pin cores.

The full ultra-precision manufacturing workflow complies with automotive mold standards: intricate micro pin slot contours are processed via micro sinker EDM and wire EDM to guarantee micron-level pin spacing tolerance; mold steel undergoes vacuum quenching and tempering heat treatment to boost hardness and wear resistance against glass-filled PA66; multi-stage precision grinding and mirror polishing remove micro burrs around tiny cavities for smooth demolding without product deformation. Optional PVD hard coating can be applied to cavity inserts to extend mold service life.

All mold inserts, guide assemblies and mold base pass full CMM coordinate measurement inspection before assembly to strictly control pin concentricity, cavity flatness and mold closing matching clearance. We fully support custom development based on customer 2D/3D drawings or physical connector samples. Cavity layout, pin density, mold steel grade and ejection structure can be adjusted according to daily production capacity, plastic material characteristics and target service life, meeting high-volume precision production demands of miniature automotive signal connectors.
