Detailed Introduction

This high-efficiency hot runner mold set is equipped with a complete hot runner assembly mounted on the fixed mold plate, including two red heating manifold modules and independent temperature control valve gate components with wiring harnesses. The hot runner design directly delivers molten plastic to each cavity without cold runner waste, drastically cutting raw material consumption and shortening molding cycle time.

The mold core adopts a multi-cavity symmetrical layout with detachable independent cavity inserts; worn single inserts can be replaced separately to reduce overall mold maintenance cost. Four oversized multi-stage guide posts ensure high repeatability during mold closing, effectively preventing flash and dimensional offset under high injection pressure. A red safety limit block is installed at the parting line to stabilize automatic mold opening and closing strokes.

The full ultra-precision manufacturing workflow complies with precision electronic molding standards: intricate micro pin slot contours are processed via micro sinker EDM and wire EDM to guarantee micron-level pin pitch tolerance; mold steel undergoes vacuum quenching & tempering heat treatment to boost hardness and wear resistance against glass-filled PBT, PA66 and LCP flame-retardant engineering plastics; multi-stage mirror polishing removes micro burrs around tiny cavities for smooth, defect-free demolding. The hot runner manifold adopts independent zone temperature control to balance melt temperature across all cavities, avoiding local overheating, material degradation and uneven product shrinkage. Optional PVD hard coating can be applied to cavity inserts to extend mold service life.

All mold inserts, guide assemblies and hot runner components pass full CMM coordinate measurement and thermal cycling testing before assembly to strictly control pin concentricity, cavity flatness and mold closing matching clearance. We fully support custom development based on customer 2D/3D engineering drawings or physical connector samples. Cavity quantity, hot runner valve gate layout, pin density, mold steel grade and surface treatment can be adjusted according to daily production capacity, plastic material characteristics and target service life, meeting high-volume precision production demands of miniature multi-pin electronic and automotive connectors.
