Detailed Introduction
This automotive signal connector housing series adopts LCP and glass-filled PBT two high-performance engineering plastics to match different vehicle working temperature environments.
LCP material owns ultra-low thermal expansion coefficient and high-frequency insulation, suitable for compact miniature multi-pin signal connectors inside engine cabins to avoid terminal offset after long-time high-temperature operation. Glass fiber reinforced PBT features strong mechanical rigidity and plug wear resistance, applied on interior multi-row signal connectors with frequent disassembly and assembly.
The product portfolio includes short single-row blocks, long multi-strip terminal housings, small circular sensor connectors and modular color-coded plug shells. Every housing is equipped with standardized pin positioning slots, anti-reverse fool-proof structures and built-in snap locks to realize tight, gapless matching with metal signal terminals. Optimized thin-wall melt flow design eliminates shrinkage, warpage and flash defects common in high-temperature plastic injection molding.
Complete Production Workflow
- Custom mold core precision machining: 5-axis CNC rough forming, micro sinker EDM for dense tiny pin hole contours
- Vacuum stress relief heat treatment for mold steel to stabilize cavity dimension under continuous high-temperature injection cycles
- Multi-stage mirror polishing to reduce LCP/PBT plastic melt adhesion and lower demolding resistance
- Segmented temperature-controlled precision injection molding for high-temperature engineering plastics
- Post-molding full 3D coordinate inspection, burr trimming and high-temperature aging insulation testing
All finished connector housings pass dimensional verification and thermal aging stability tests. Custom development is fully supported based on customer terminal layout drawings: pin grid number, shell dimension, plastic material grade, locking structure and color can be adjusted according to working temperature, signal load and service life requirements. The diversified specification series covers tiny 2-pin sensor connectors to long multi-row instrument wiring terminal blocks for one-stop matching supply.
