Detailed Introduction

This high-yield core plate integrates 18 independent cup-shaped cavities neatly arranged in matrix distribution, which can produce 18 complete mini tea cups in one single molding cycle, greatly boosting production efficiency compared to low-cavity molds. Each cavity is machined with integrated cup body contour and bottom forming structure to realize one-step forming of the cup’s outer wall and bottom features.

Conformal cooling channels are distributed around every cup cavity, connected to external air and water pipelines via side brass connectors. The balanced temperature control system shortens molding cycle time and stabilizes plastic shrinkage, effectively eliminating cup body warpage, uneven wall thickness and surface flow marks. Air-assisted ejection design prevents thin plastic cup deformation, scratches or sticking during demolding.

The full ultra-precision manufacturing workflow meets food contact plastic molding standards: cup inner wall surfaces are processed via optical mirror polishing to achieve smooth, stain-free finish; mold steel undergoes vacuum quenching & tempering heat treatment to strengthen resistance to PP, PET and food-grade PP composite plastics without precipitation of harmful substances. Optional PVD food-safe coating can be applied to cavity surfaces to extend service life and simplify mold cleaning.

All inserts, cooling circuits and positioning structures pass full CMM coordinate measurement inspection before assembly to strictly control cup roundness, wall thickness and cavity depth tolerance. The mold frame is engraved with product name marking for production classification and tracking. We fully support custom development based on customer drinkware drawings or physical cup samples, adjusting cavity quantity, cup capacity, cooling layout and surface treatment according to daily production volume and plastic material requirements.
