Detailed Introduction

This core plate is designed to form circular automotive sensor connectors with internal radial multi-slot gear structures. Two independent circular cavity inserts are arranged symmetrically, each containing precisely machined radial partitions and terminal slots to perfectly replicate the internal locking and wiring structure of finished black sensor plugs, ensuring uniform wall thickness to meet automotive insulation and anti-vibration standards.

Four orange spring positioning sleeves are distributed around the cavity area to assist precise insert alignment during mold assembly, reducing assembly offset risk. Large-diameter guide sleeve holes at four corners provide high-rigidity repeated mold closing positioning, effectively suppressing flash and dimensional deviation under high injection pressure. The split surround frame insert structure allows local damaged cavity sections to be replaced separately instead of replacing the whole plate, lowering overall mold maintenance costs and production downtime.

The full ultra-precision manufacturing workflow complies with automotive electronic quality standards: complex radial gear slot contours inside each circular cavity are processed via micro sinker EDM and precision circular grinding to guarantee consistent slot pitch and circular roundness; mold steel undergoes vacuum quenching & tempering heat treatment to enhance resistance to high-temperature glass-filled PA66 and PBT flame-retardant plastics; multi-stage optical mirror polishing eliminates micro burrs to avoid plastic flash that may cause circuit short-circuit hazards. Optional PVD hard coating can be applied to cavity surfaces to extend mold service life for long cyclic automated production.

All inserts, positioning sleeves and mold frame pass full CMM coordinate measurement inspection before assembly to strictly control circular cavity roundness, slot concentricity and parting line flatness. We fully support custom development based on automotive powertrain sensor connector engineering drawings or physical samples. Cavity diameter, radial slot quantity, spring positioning layout and surface treatment can be adjusted according to vehicle operating temperature, waterproof grade and service life requirements, meeting high-reliability mass production demands of circular automotive motor sensor connectors.
