KRS K-1280i High-Speed Precision Machining Center

Our CNC workshop is equipped with a KRS K-1280i high-speed, high-precision machining center, supporting the in-house production of precision metal components, mold parts, tooling, fixtures, and complex structural components.

The machine is integrated into our internal manufacturing workflow, covering CNC programming, workholding preparation, machining, process adjustment, and quality inspection. Keeping these processes within our own facility enables closer coordination between engineering, production, and quality-control teams.

The K-1280i is part of the machining-center range developed by Guangdong KRS CNC Technology. It uses an integrated artificial-marble inclined machine bed, a gantry structure, and a suspended guideway arrangement designed to support stable axis movement during precision machining.

Key Advantages:

  • Stable high-speed machining
  • Rigid gantry structure
  • Fine surface processing
  • Large-part machining capacity
  • Closer in-house quality control

Equipment and Production Capabilities

The KRS K-1280i expands the machining range available within our CNC workshop. Its machine structure is suitable for components that require a combination of dimensional accuracy, contour control, surface quality, and stable material removal.

The equipment supports milling, drilling, boring, tapping, cavity machining, and finishing operations. It is used for both individual precision parts and components requiring several machining processes to be completed within the same setup.

Typical parts processed on this machine include:

  • Precision mold inserts and mold plates
  • Automation and robotics components
  • Machine and equipment structural parts
  • Jigs, fixtures, and production tooling
  • Components with deep cavities or complex contours
  • Medium and large precision metal parts

The integrated inclined bed and gantry-style construction help provide a stable foundation for axis movement. The suspended guideway design also supports consistent motion when machining detailed profiles, mold cavities, and extended surfaces.

Within our factory, the machine is operated alongside other CNC machining centers. This allows production work to be distributed according to component size, geometry, material, tolerance requirements, and delivery schedule.

CNC programs, tools, fixtures, and cutting parameters are prepared by our internal team. During production, operators perform process checks and coordinate with the quality department when dimensional or surface requirements need further verification.

By maintaining this machining capability in-house, we can respond more efficiently to design revisions, prototype adjustments, fixture optimization, and repeat-production requirements without depending entirely on external processing resources.

Note: The equipment shown in the first image is a KRS K-1280i machining center installed in our CNC workshop. Actual machining performance depends on the tooling, fixtures, materials, CNC programs, and production configuration used for each project.
