Taiwanese Victor Taichung VFIII-150W Servo-Hydraulic Injection Molding Machine

Our precision molding workshop is equipped with a Taiwanese Victor Taichung VFIII-150W servo-hydraulic injection molding machine for in-house mold trials, sample production, process verification, and repeat manufacturing of plastic components.

The model marking visible on the equipment confirms that it is a VFIII-150W. This model provides a rated clamping force of 150 tons, a 460 × 460 mm tie-bar spacing, a 690 × 665 mm platen, and a maximum mold-opening stroke of 400 mm. Depending on the selected screw diameter, the injection volume ranges from 181.5 to 265.9 cm³.

Injection Molding Capabilities

The VFIII-150W is used to process thermoplastic materials through a controlled injection molding cycle. Plastic pellets are heated and plasticized inside the barrel, injected into the closed mold cavity, held under pressure, cooled, and then removed through the mold’s ejection system.

The equipment enables our molding team to set and monitor key process conditions, including:

  • Barrel temperature
  • Injection speed and pressure
  • Screw position and metering
  • Holding pressure and time
  • Mold opening and closing
  • Clamping force
  • Cooling time
  • Back pressure
  • Ejector movement
  • Production cycle time

The VFIII series uses servo-controlled pressure and flow regulation, together with PID barrel-temperature control and multi-stage injection and holding-pressure settings. These functions support process adjustment according to the resin, mold structure, wall thickness, and component requirements.

Typical Applications

The machine supports the production and validation of:

  • Precision plastic components
  • Electronic and connector parts
  • Equipment housings
  • Small structural components
  • Insert-molded parts
  • Mold-trial samples
  • Functional prototypes
  • Low-volume production batches
  • Repeat-production components

Its 150-ton clamping capacity and 460 × 460 mm tie-bar spacing accommodate a range of small and medium-sized molds used within our molding and mold-development programs.

Mold Trial and Process Verification

The Victor Taichung injection molding machine forms part of our integrated mold-manufacturing workflow. After machining, EDM, grinding, assembly, and fitting, a completed mold can be installed on the machine for practical molding tests.

During a trial, technicians evaluate:

  • Mold filling behavior
  • Flash and short-shot conditions
  • Weld lines and flow marks
  • Holding and shrinkage behavior
  • Surface appearance
  • Dimensional stability
  • Cooling performance
  • Ejection and demolding
  • Cycle consistency

Trial results provide direct feedback to the mold, engineering, and quality teams. When necessary, adjustments can be made to the molding parameters, venting, gate condition, cooling arrangement, ejector system, or local mold structure.

Role in Our Manufacturing Process

A typical production route may include:

  1. Mold assembly and fitting
  2. Mold installation on the injection molding machine
  3. Resin drying and material preparation
  4. Initial molding-parameter setup
  5. Sample molding
  6. Appearance and dimensional inspection
  7. Mold or process adjustment
  8. Repeat verification and production

Keeping this equipment within our factory allows mold technicians, process engineers, machine operators, and quality inspectors to review actual molded samples together. This improves coordination between mold manufacturing and plastic production and supports more efficient correction when process or tooling issues are identified.

The Taiwanese Victor Taichung VFIII-150W shown represents part of our factory’s precision injection molding capability. Actual processing conditions are selected according to the resin type, mold structure, component geometry, surface requirements, dimensional tolerances, and production quantity.
