Injection molding process, burns occur from time to time, its causes are diverse, the solution is also different.


First, mechanical factors may cause burns. For example, overheating of the barrel caused by abnormal conditions can cause the resin to decompose at high temperatures and cause burns when it is injected into the product. In addition, stagnant flow of resin from nozzles, screw threads, and check valves in the barrel may be carried into the product after decomposition and discoloration, resulting in dark brown burn marks. For this kind of problem, nozzles, screws and barrels should be cleaned in time.

Secondly, mold problems are also a major cause of burns, mainly manifested in poor exhaust. This type of burn usually occurs in a fixed position, and mechanical factors lead to burns easier to distinguish. To solve this problem, exhaust slots or exhaust rods should be added.


Finally, in terms of molding conditions, when the back pressure exceeds 300MPa or the screw speed is too high, it may lead to overheating of the barrel part, which in turn triggers burns.
