1. Electrical and electronic industry

FEP has good insulation and heat resistance, and can be used as an insulating material at 180-220℃ or in environments with large temperature differences. Coupled with the fire alarm when the smoke generated by FEP is very small, so it has been widely used in office buildings, internal cables, telephone wires, internal communication devices, alarm lines, television monitors, computers and closed-circuit television lines and other places. In addition, FEP is also used for military wires and other aircraft, PTFE wires outside the casing material, heat detection line, the computer after the embedded board wires, coaxial cable core and insulation, round or flat broadcast frequency (RF) transmission lines, holes buried wire and thermocouples and so on.

2. 5G communication

FEP molecular structure of low polarity, low dielectric constant and dielectric loss, the material is widely used in the field of information and communication. In the era of 5G communication, FEP film is also widely studied and applied to FCCL insulating layer. In addition, because of the good performance of FEP, at present in the electronic communications industry, also widely with PI film, LCP film and other composite, to improve the comprehensive performance of the product.

3. Chemical industry

In the chemical industry, FEP parts as metal equipment, corrosion-resistant barrier ring anti-stick lining to apply, such as FEP lined ball valves, FEP lined diaphragm valves, etc. FEP tube high transparency, can be used as a corrosion-resistant liquid surface pipe. FEP tubes are highly transparent and can be used as corrosion-resistant liquid surface tubes. FEP film, pipe and parts as low temperature sealing material is better than PTFE, and has good adhesion to metal or glass, and is often used as welding rod in PTFE welding.

4. Medical

FEP film can also be used in the field of medicine, such as medical sterilization bags, disposable indwelling needle cannulae, biochemical Petri dishes.
