As the upstream industry of medical devices, medical injection molding, driven by demand, is expected to usher in a round of development opportunities. However, in the process of entering the medical injection molding industry, we encountered some technical difficulties.

1、Material selection

First of all, material selection. Medical devices often require higher purity of raw materials. This not only requires us to choose higher quality raw materials, but also requires us to pay more attention to the corrosion of the molds and processing equipment itself during processing, (see here) and even need to change and optimize the previous injection molding process. With the efforts of our engineers, we finally overcame this technical difficulty. At present, we have been able to carry out injection molding of PC, PP, ABS, PEEK, LCP, PTFE, PVDF, PFA and other materials.

2、Dust free injection molding

There are many medical products that have dust-free injection molding requirements. Yize Mould has recently obtained the certification of Class 1000 cleanroom. The clean room can exclude particles, bacteria and other harmful substances in the air, and also has a stable temperature and humidity environment, which can not only eliminate the contamination of medical devices in the process of injection molding and production, but also provide a stable external environment for the production of medical devices, to ensure the stability of the quality of medical devices.

3、Precision requirements

Medical device injection molding often has high precision requirements, the tolerance often can not exceed 0.05mm or even 0.02mm, in order to achieve such high precision, we have been working hard.
